Group Policies & More Information

The First Adventure Lesson Program is designed for kids who are ready to hit the hill! Our wonderful instructors fit students with helmets and equipment and get them sliding. For 2 year olds, we'll hit the slopes one time per day, whether enrolled in full-day or half-day. For older sliders (ages 3-4) enrolled in a full-day, instructors will attempt to add a second lesson. All lessons are 45 minutes to 1 hour long, and have a 3:1 student-teacher ratio to ensure your child will get the attention they need to become a lifelong skier or rider.
With a safe, play-based environment for all ages, our youngest guests are welcomed into their day at Pico Mountain with happiness and comfort. Our newly renovated Child Care Center has specific rooms and activities for each age group. Infants are entertained with music, stories, fine motor/tactile activities and individual play, with naps and bottle feeding as needed. Our teachers work together with older children to plan fun, creative indoor activities.
Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
*Pico Child Care is open Saturdays, Sundays and Peak Days
An innovative combination of inside skill building, and outside exploration, your Trekker will come away from the session having explored the wonders of the outside environment, learned about his or her equipment, on snow safety and appropriate skiing or riding skills.
Meets inside at the Trekkers Den located in Pico Building D, across from the main base lodge. If equipment is needed, it will be fitted by staff inside the Trekkers Den.
Mountaineers think big, and at My Pico Mountain Adventure Camp, so do our instructors. This program uses the terrain at Pico as our playground with a focus on safety, fun, building confidence and gaining new skills. Mountaineers are ready to get the most out of the mountain, and this program does just that. Designed for participants that have skied or snowboarded before. If you are first timer, check out our First Time Ski & Ride program for the most suitable program.
